Dinorah is a Mexican guitarist who performs in full mariachi attire and is travelling from California especially for this event. It's a rare chance to hear live Mexican music in Bangkok, in the very week families in Mexico set up their ofrendas.
Tips for going

The prettiest way to reach River City: by boat on the Chao Phraya. Illustration: Latinos en Tailandia.
- Arrive early. The event lasts just one hour and starts at 5:30 p.m., peak traffic time in Bangkok.
- Take the boat. River City sits next to Si Phraya pier; the Chao Phraya ferry is the fastest and most scenic way there.
- Check before you go. Follow the Embassy's official channels in case registration is required or plans change.
- Dress for the occasion. Marigolds, Catrina makeup or a splash of color are always welcome.
